Why make this?
Pearlshipping has been a special thing for me for years now, and with the end of the pokemon anime, I felt the need to tell the world about just how ADORABLE they are! And with Bulbapedia deleting most of the ship pages in 2022, I wanted a place with information about those two. About their relationship and why they're absolutely the best when together!
I have never been one too keen on ship, let alone straight ships (between kids nonetheless); so I tend to feel mostly grossed out at canon romance in shows but those two? Their relationship is just so damn cute, be it platonically, romantically or queer-platonically, and I need people to appreciate them more. And with how impossible it is to find the DP season online, specially with subs, I wanted to make this site as a little shrine for pearlshipping, from someone who has loved it all the way from 2006 to 2024~

I love pokemon and I specially love gen 4 a lot, from the games to the anime, with the latter being very special to me as both Dawn, her relationship with Ash and specially Chimchar's story gave me a reason to continue living in a time where I thought I wouldn't.
